The Aarohan 2026 program, jointly organized under the aegis of academic and social institutions, emerged as a deeply enriching and transformative initiative aimed at shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals. Moderated by Dr. Gaurav Singh, CEO, Blockchain for Impact (BFI) over 23rd, 24th and 25th July in an intellectually vibrant and value-driven environment, the program brought together medical students from diverse institutions, fostering a shared platform for dialogue, reflection, and holistic learning.
The central theme of Aarohan revolved around integrating medical education with the principles of service, ethical responsibility, and national development, thereby transcending the conventional boundaries of clinical training. The discourse encouraged participants to internalize the idea that a physician’s role extends beyond diagnosis and treatment to becoming a custodian of human dignity and societal well-being. The program’s online quizzes saw active participation from 600+ students and led to 9 students being awarded gift certificates on the basis of their exceptional performance. Top performing medical colleges were awarded prizes by an esteemed panel of senior dignitaries.

In June ’26, the “Symposium on Clinician’s Roadmap to Genomics and Transcriptomics Research” hosted at the JPNA Trauma Centre, AIIMS, New Delhi, clinicians, researchers, and ecosystem stakeholders came together to discuss pathways for translating scientific and clinical research into scalable healthcare solutions. The symposium shed light upon an emerging intersection between genomics applications and healthcare, with opening remarks by Dr. MC Misra, Ex-Director AIIMS Delhi. Featuring technical sessions by eminent speakers such as, Dr. Rajesh Pandey’s (CSIR-IGIB) presentation on ‘DNA, RNA, and Protein: The Multi-Omics Decision Tree’, a complex world of biotechnology came to life.
Other luminaries educated the audience on the world of RNA sequencing and single-cell disease study with presentations by Dr. Nimesh Gupta (NII) and Dr. Sourav Banerjee (NBRC). From Blockchain from Impact (BFI), Dr. Sanchita Chaudhary, educated the attendees on incubation and funding pathways in the ecosystem. The importance of entrepreneurship and innovation assisted the audience in understanding large-scale relevance of clinical research.

The second installment of the BSG competition was held on 26th April ‘26. Building upon last year’s success, BSG 2026 brought together young learners to explore key milestones in Indian science from foundational discoveries to contemporary advancements in technology, research, and innovation.
Through interactive sessions, discussions, and thematic explorations, participants were encouraged to appreciate the role of science not only as an academic discipline, but as a driving force behind national growth and societal transformation. Aligned with the broader vision of building a Viksit Bharat, the program emphasized the importance of nurturing scientific temper, critical thinking, and curiosity among students.

HS Foundation was the proud presenting partner of the HTG Bharat Summit, held on 25th April ‘26, which convened a distinguished gathering of clinicians, policymakers, entrepreneurs, investors, and technology leaders to explore the future of healthcare innovation in India. Centered around the theme “Digital, Data & Devices: The New Health Economy,” the summit served as a high-impact platform for dialogue, collaboration, and knowledge exchange. Opening sessions included a keynote by Mr. K. C. Chandrasekhar on building for Bharat, alongside senior ecosystem leaders such as Dr. Premnath Venugopalan.
A policy-focused keynote by Dr. Uma Nambiar further explored the intersection of regulation, standards, and India’s emerging digital health stack. A series of thematic panels formed the core of the summit, bringing together domain experts across clinical, technological, and investment landscapes. Key discussions included “Clinical AI in Practice: From Decision Support to Daily Care,” “Scaling Health Innovation for Bharat,” and “Next-Gen MedTech: Devices, Diagnostics & Smart Therapeutics.” The summit also hosted senior dignitaries and industry leaders such as Mr. Ashwin Raguraman, Mr. Gireendra Kasmalkar, and Dr. Ashwin Naik, alongside a diverse group of clinicians, startup founders, and policymakers. This curated Medtech workshop at IKP Knowledge Park, Bengaluru gave founders a look at what it takes to build and scale globally excellent MedTech products that create immense impact on the ground. Builders, platform creators, funders, and other relevant stakeholders contributed to an honest and enriching discussion where a partnership was announced between IKP and HS Foundation India, to strengthen biotech entrepreneurship in Tier 2 cities.
Dr Satya Prakash Dash set the tone with his opening remarks & pointed to the persistent challenges in the ecosystem & the strategies IKP would take to overcome them. Dr Gaurav Singh provided a compelling narrative of new initiatives such as the innovation full stack, through which Blockchain for Impact (BFI) aims to accelerate translational research & product development. The panel also featured two deep perspectives from founders/builders, Dr Arjun Arunachalam & Chandrasekhar K, who shared fascinating insights from their time in the trenches building world-class, complex engineering products such as helium-free MRI machines and ophthalmology devices.

The Sonipat Startup Summit 4.0, held on 12–13 February 2026 at IIT Delhi Technopark, emerged as a premier platform for accelerating deep-tech innovation in India. As an official Ecosystem Partner, HS Foundation played a pivotal role in connecting startups, investors, and industry stakeholders within a high-impact collaborative environment.
The summit focused on bridging the critical gap between prototype development and market deployment, particularly in sectors such as AI, manufacturing, health-tech, and sustainability. Through exhibitions, investor sessions, and startup pitching forums, participants gained access to funding opportunities ranging from ₹10 to ₹50 lakhs. The event significantly strengthened the Haryana-NCR innovation ecosystem while advancing India’s broader vision of technology-led economic growth.

The Faculty to Classroom Program was a 3-day residential masterclass organized by HS Foundation at FITT, IIT Delhi, aimed at empowering educators as catalysts of innovation. The program trained 63 faculty members from 35 institutions across tier-2 and tier-3 regions, equipping them with skills in entrepreneurship, intellectual property, and incubation.
Designed as a “train-the-trainer” model, it enables faculty to cascade innovation-driven learning to over 1.35 lakh students annually. The curriculum combined expert-led sessions, hands-on exercises, and real-world startup case studies. This initiative represents a scalable and replicable model for democratizing innovation education across India.

The ‘Bharat and Its Scientific Glory’ national competition, held in Ghaziabad on 12 April 2025, was a landmark initiative celebrating India’s rich scientific heritage through student-led research. Co-organised by HS Foundation, the event brought together over 260 participants from more than 11 states, showcasing interdisciplinary work across classical Indian knowledge systems.
With 140+ entries and 30 finalist projects, the competition created a prestigious national platform for academic excellence and cultural rediscovery. Participants explored domains such as mathematics, medicine, architecture, and environmental science through the lens of traditional Indian frameworks. The event successfully bridged ancient wisdom with contemporary inquiry, reinforcing the relevance of India’s civilisational knowledge in modern scholarship.
